Lacie

Lacie
This is our little Lacie girl. We believe that she's a mix of a poodle and cocker spaniel. Lacie was found wandering down Gessner fending for herself. She was so badly matted that our groomer had to take all of her hair off and it came off in one piece. She weighed 11#, had lost a lot of blood from hook worms and was dealing with a few small infections. Fortunately we got her the care she needed in time. She is believed to be about 1.5-2 years old.

Now Lacie is doing so much better. She has the greatest personality. She's one of the most loving dogs I've encountered. If she's not bouncing around playing with Duder or wanting you to play with her, she's in your lap just soaking in all the love she can. She's good with other dogs but, just like she is with humans, she has to get to know them first. She was a little stand offish with Duder when we first took her in but after a couple of days, they were tearing through the house together.

She is a very special dog that deserves a loving home. She is heartworm negative, housebroken and a kisser. She would do best in a home that doesn't have small, toddler age, children. She gets nervous and scared when there's too much noise or activity around her. Her hair is still coming in and it looks like the majority of it will be poodle curly. She is a nice cream white color. So if you're looking for a sweet young girl to fill your homes and hearts with joy, this is your girl.
